Limbs of Hope
Hareer Foundation for Community Development launched “Limbs of Hope” initiative to support children and individuals from all segments of society who have lost limbs as a result of illness, injury, or the devastating impact of war, and to help them regain mobility, independence, and dignity.
About the Campaign
The initiative aims to provide and fit prosthetic limbs in accordance with medical and technical standards that ensure safety, comfort, and functionality, with special consideration for the unique needs of children. These prosthetics enable children to move freely, play, learn, and engage in daily life with greater independence.
For a child, losing a limb is not only a physical challenge, but also a profound emotional experience. “Limbs of Hope” goes beyond restoring movement—it helps restore childhood, self-confidence, and the ability to live life like other children, without limitations or feelings of exclusion.
The initiative serves all individuals in need, regardless of age or background, based on a firm belief that every person deserves a dignified and independent life, and that physical and psychological support are essential parts of the healing journey.
