As part of its ongoing humanitarian mission and commitment to supporting people from the Gaza Strip, Hareer for Community Development, in cooperation with the International Eye Center, implemented a free humanitarian medical initiative benefiting 35 individuals, including children, women, and men who arrived in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to receive medical treatment following the recent war and its devastating health and humanitarian consequences.
The initiative highlighted the importance of partnerships between humanitarian organizations and medical institutions in providing essential healthcare services to vulnerable communities. As part of this collaboration, Hareer accompanied the beneficiaries to the International Eye Center, where they received specialized medical services free of charge, including comprehensive eye examinations, vision testing, and medical assessments to identify the specific healthcare needs of each individual.
The center also provided free prescription eyeglasses to all beneficiaries whose medical conditions required them, contributing to improving their quality of life and alleviating the financial and healthcare burdens faced by individuals and families affected by the conflict.
This initiative forms part of Hareer for Community Development's broader efforts to promote humanitarian solidarity, strengthen community cooperation, and provide essential support and care to people from the Gaza Strip. It reflects the organization's firm belief that access to healthcare is a fundamental human right and that collaboration across different sectors plays a vital role in creating meaningful and sustainable improvements in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families.
Hareer for Community Development expressed its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the management, medical professionals, and administrative staff of the International Eye Center for their generous cooperation, humanitarian commitment, and valuable contribution to the success of this initiative.
The organization particularly commended the center's dedication to providing specialized eye examinations, medical assessments, and prescription eyeglasses entirely free of charge, emphasizing that this collaboration represents an inspiring example of corporate social responsibility and meaningful humanitarian partnership aimed at serving those most in need.
Hareer for Community Development reaffirmed its commitment to expanding partnerships with medical institutions and supporting organizations while continuing to implement healthcare and humanitarian initiatives benefiting children, families, and vulnerable communities.
Through these efforts, Hareer remains dedicated to spreading hope, strengthening the values of compassion and solidarity, and reflecting Jordan's longstanding humanitarian commitment to standing alongside and supporting those in need, particularly the people of Gaza.
